This is how the III VIAJAR Awards went: a recognition of tourism excellence in Spain
Tourism in Spain closed 2024 with a flourish thanks to the III VIAJAR Awards, an event that brought together almost 150 professionals from the sector to reward the best initiatives, destinations and tourist experiences of the year. The ceremony, organized by VIAJAR magazine, became an essential event to highlight talent and innovation in a sector that never ceases to surprise us.
Among the many highlights of the night, Vera shone brightly when receiving the Award for the Best Innovative Tourism Initiative for its project “Your Winter Beaches”. This recognition, which was collected by the mayor of Vera, Alfonso García, values the effort and vision of turning our destination into an attractive place not only in summer, but throughout the year.
What does the “Your Winter Beaches” project consist of?
The initiative proposes a unique tourist offer that allows you to enjoy our wonderful beaches even in the coldest months. With activities, services adapted to the season and a sustainable approach, “Your Winter Beaches” seeks to position Vera as a benchmark in quality, innovative tourism designed for all audiences.
During the gala, attendees agreed that the project represents an example of how tourism can evolve to respond to the demands of an increasingly demanding traveler, while promoting local development and boosting the economy in the months of lower tourist influx.
